What is most useful to include

  • For retirement-tool bug reports: your input values (country, ages, bucket balances, return assumptions), what you expected, what you saw, and (if possible) a screenshot.
  • For tax-engine methodology corrections: the statutory citation or published rate table you believe the model contradicts, plus the model output you're seeing.
  • For investing data corrections: the published source you believe the note contradicts (press release, annual report, audited financial statement), plus a link or citation.
  • For methodology challenges: the specific claim you contest and your reasoning. Counter-examples are particularly useful — a named institution with materially different 10-year results, or a statutory provision the tool models wrong.
  • For additions to the dataset: the institution name, the most recent published 10-year return, the AUM, and the source URL. The author maintains a working dataset across multiple research notes.
  • For general discussion: as specific as possible — both projects are technical and detailed responses depend on knowing what specifically interests you.
